One menu, every screen

Many restaurants have their menu in three different places: the PDF behind the QR code, the ‘Menu’ page on their website and the paper menu. Every price change has to be made three times, and one version is always out of date.

With Visual Menu, you write the menu once, in your dashboard. From there it goes to the phone of anyone who scans the QR code and to the menu page on your website, with your brand’s fonts and colours. When you save a change, your website updates itself within a few minutes.

Step by step

How we connect it

  1. We set up your menu

We move your menu onto Visual Menu: groups, dishes, prices, photos, allergens and languages.

  2. We match it to your website

We design your website’s menu page in your style: no embedded windows that look out of place.

  3. It updates itself

Every change you save in the dashboard reaches your website without you lifting a finger.

  4. You choose where the QR code leads

The table QR code can open the menu on your website or the one on Visual Menu, whichever you prefer.

Benefits

Why it beats a PDF on your website

  • Google understands it

The menu is real text, with structured menu data: Google knows which dishes you serve and can show your restaurant when someone searches for them.

  • In your design

Your fonts, your colours and your logo. The menu looks tailor-made because it is.

  • Change it once

Change a price once and it updates in the QR menu and on your website.

  • Fast

It loads instantly on a phone, with no heavy files to download.

  • In all your languages

If your website is in several languages, so is the menu.

  • Always available

Your website keeps the latest version of the menu: if something goes wrong, it’s still on show.

Questions

Questions about the integration

Does it work with any website?

If ON menu built your website, the integration is straightforward. If it runs on WordPress or another platform, tell us which one and we’ll explain how to do it; in many cases it’s better value to rebuild the website.

How often does the menu on the website update?

Every time you save a change in the dashboard. Within a few minutes you’ll see it live on your website.

Can I use the same menu on my website and for the QR codes?

Yes, it’s the same menu. The QR code can take guests to the menu page on your website or to your Visual Menu address.

What if I don’t have a website yet?

Your menu works just the same at yourname.visual-menu.com. And if you want a website later on, the menu connects to it without you having to type it all in again.

Shall we connect your menu to your website?

Tell us about your website and we’ll show you how it would look.
